jessie's puppy show results

26/11/2011 Millvosis Thats All For Tombear aka Jessie made her de-but in the show ring today at The Eastern St Bernard Club champ show under Judge Kathy Thorpe. Jessie did me very proud, gaining 2nd place in MPB and qualified for Crufts 2012.

Judges critique:

Thomas’s Millvosis That’s All for Tombear. Litter sister to Winner. Nicely put together, nice head, dark eye and correct bite. Good shoulder placement. Good spring of rib. Nice loin and croup. Moved well. These two could change places quite easily.

11/12/2011 Another great show day at South of England St Bernard Clubs 25th anniversay champ show under Judge Karen Fitzsimmons. Jessie took 2nd place in MPB behind her litter sister. I think a great time was had by all.

Judges critique:

Litter sister to winner and another promising young lady. She is slightly taller than her sister and is more balanced. However her head is narrow at present. She has good eyes and bite. Adequate bone and good feet. She moved well enough in front but a little close behind and this was the deciding factor. However i am sure she will give her sisters a run for her money as she matures.

29/01/2012  we had lovely day at the City of Cambridge open show Judged by Mr Doug Bedford. Jessie took reserve place out of a class of 11 in junior, very pleasing result and she seemed to really enjoy herself.

10/03/2012 CRUFTS: We had a great day at Crufts. St Bernards being Judged by Mr R Searle. Jessie took 2nd place in a very strong class. we are over the moon, couldn't have asked for more from our first time showing on the green carpet. This result also qualifies her for Crufts 2013. 

Judges Critique: Not the size of 1 but balanced and very sound. Good body, Head, Expression, in nice body order. Handler needs more experience.

17/03/2012 CELTIC WINNERS - IRELAND: This was our first time showing in Ireland and have to say we thoroughly enjoyed it. Judged by Mr P Lawless, Jessie took 1st place in smooth puppy and was graded very promising (this is the highest grade a puppy can get). Also massive congratulations to Kathy Lane for her 7th Green star on Lady (Finetime shady lady by lanebern) making her a new Irish Champion. A great day was had by all.

21/04/2012 WOW!!!! What Working and Pastoral breeds of Wales Champ Show Judged by Mrs S Hewart-Chambers. Jessie out did herself with 1st place in puppy and 1st place in junior classes making her BEST PUPPY BITCH and RESERVE BEST PUPPY IN BREED. She was beaten to Best puppy in breed by the loveley Chunky Monkey (Lazeybears Back To Black) who also took the RDCC so congratulations to Sarah and Hazel.

Judges Critique: Really promising smooth baby, lovely gentle expression, dark tight dry eyes with well set on ears and flat cheeks. I would prefer better pigment on the lips but that may still come. Correct Dentition and good depth of chest for age and well ribbed back, lovely profile shape and angulation, moved out easily.

29/04/2012 Today was the United St Bernard Club open show and the weather was terrible. It didn't stop raining all day and was very windy but still had a very enjoyable day. Our Judge was Mr Chris Quantrill, he placed Jessie 3rd in PB and 2nd in Novice. A pleasing result as both were very strong classes.

 Judges Critique: A very elegant well proportioned smooth coat, well balanced and in lovely proportion, good strong bone throughout, nice feminine head very good eyes and nice ear set, good dentition, nice reach and arch of neck, good top line and nice strong rear quarters, moved well.   

 06/05/2012 WOW!!! what a day we had at The Eastern St. Bernard Club open show today, Judged by Mr J Grubb. Jessie takes 1st place in novice, then goes on to win RESERVE BEST BITCH, BEST PUPPY BITCH AND RESERVE BEST PUPPY IN SHOW!!! This was then followed by a lovely lunch provided by the club, this was a perfect end to a fantastic day. :D

11/05/2012 Another good day in the show ring at Birmingham National judged today by Ms Lorna Lyons. Jessie takes 2nd place in PB.

Judges Critique: Smooth bitch with lovely clean dark eyes, 11 months old, pleasing expression, moved well, slightly smaller than first. 

20/05/2012 Coventry and District open show. Jessie takes 2nd in her last ever puppy class. Not a bad start to her show career.
